Hands Off HRI

#HandsOffHRI Campaign Logo

Hands Off HRI is a grass-roots community campaign started by Kirklees resident Karl Deitch in January 2016.

From its spontaneous inception as a Facebook group on Jan 16th, 2016 (swiftly followed by a Twitter account, a day or two later), the campaign has stunned the public and the media by its spectacular growth in less than 2 months from zero to over 47,000 members residing across the entire geography of Kirklees and Calderdale, from Huddersfield, Dewsbury & Halifax to Holmfirth, Hebden Bridge, Kirkburton, Todmorden & Denby Dale.

Hands Off HRI represents the wider community of the entire southern part of the county of West Yorkshire all coming together with one voice to declare unambiguously:

"Hands Off HRI!"

WhoWe Are

The #HandsOffHRI Campaign wouldn't be a fraction of the amazing campaign that it is, if it weren't for the tireless energy and work of literally thousands of volunteers across Greater Huddersfield and Calderdale.

See a quick summary list of some of the very many #HandsOffHRI Campaign Volunteers, which explains some of the hard work each of them devotes to the campaign on a monthly, weekly and sometimes even daily basis.

SpecialThanks

Special Thanks from the #HandsOffHRI Campaign

The #HandsOffHRI Campaign would like to give Special Thanks to the following businesses and organisations for all their terrific support in helping to save Huddersfield Royal Infirmary...

Without so many people from so many valleys across the southern part of West Yorkshire all pulling together to support the campaign as magnificently as they have done, then, as a community, the people of Greater Huddersfield and Calderdale would never have been able to build all the amazing things we have all achieved so far.
